AIE is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and project management consultancy with locations across Australia and New Zealand.
Established in 2014, they provided structural integrity inspections and related asset management services and quickly expanded their offering. Today, they are a valued partner to clients in the resources, infrastructure, marine, transport, and renewable industries, delivering a range of high-quality engineering solutions.
Challenge.
The foundation AIE brand had admirably served its purpose of representing a bespoke engineering consultancy, but as the sophistication and scale of the offering grew, it was no longer adequately representing their full capabilities or aspirations.
AIE needed to reframe market perception, transposing principal staff 'personal brand' values, relationships and sentiments that had been key to the company's growth into the 'master brand' of AIE, thereby presenting a consolidated, mature and compelling offering to market.
Response.
We partnered with AIE develop a comprehensive brand strategy to prepare for growth and reflect their service offering, culture, vision and aspiration. Working collaboratively, we refined their vision, purpose and values, created a clear brand promise, positioning and value proposition.
We refreshed their wordmark to be forward-facing, simple and purposeful, aligning and elevating AIE to other established class-leading consultancies. We created a new tagline ‘Engineering Impact’ – that in two words encapsulates the brand essence of the company, its people and their aspirational vision.
Following this we then moved to rolling out the brand identity to core print and marketing collateral, as well as their digital experience; deploying a new website that demonstrated their complete capabilities.

The refreshed AIE brand has aligned their confidence and capability as a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, elevating them above previous competitors and empowering them to focus on pursuing their vision.
